Service Users have the right to:
- Have Considerate and Respectful treatment with recognition of personal dignity at all times.
- Be granted access to appropriate services and fair treatment regardless of age, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, social and health status, disability, political or religious opinion, past employment, family or marital status.
- Be free from harassment, coercion, discrimination and exploitation in any form.
- Look through information contained in his/her personal file.
- Be informed prior to and at the time of admission to Vakaola's Code of Rights and Responsibilities.
- Choice of consent.
- Have an advocate, support person or interpreter.
- Complain without fear of compromising his/her relationship.
